Every visit

What a service visit includes.

A weekly visit is not "toss in a tab and go." Each stop follows the same checklist so nothing gets skipped when it's busy:

  • Net the surface and vacuum as needed
  • Brush walls, steps, and the tile line
  • Empty skimmer and pump baskets, check the cleaner bag
  • Test chlorine, pH, alkalinity, and stabilizer; salt and calcium on a schedule
  • Balance the water and log what was added
  • Check the pump and cleaner are running right and the filter pressure is where it should be
  • Flag anything that looks off before it becomes a repair

Your tech learns the pool, the equipment, and the gate code, so problems get noticed early.

Why twice a week

What the desert does to a service schedule.

Summer in the valley is different. Heat above 105 burns chlorine off fast, evaporation pulls water down an inch or more a week, and one windy afternoon puts a film of dust on everything. A pool that was fine on one visit a week in February can slip in July.

That's why our default is twice a week, all year. The desert is hard on pools, and two shorter visits keep chemistry and debris from ever getting ahead of you. Some pools can run on less: shade, low use, a good automatic cleaner. We'll tell you after the first visit, and we'll say so if we think you're paying for more than you need.

What sets the monthly price

  • Pool size, and whether there's a spa
  • Visits per week (twice is the default)
  • Chemicals included or billed as used (your quote says which)
  • Salt system, automatic cleaner, and water features
  • Gate access, and whether there's a dog to work around

Signs your current service isn't keeping up

  • Cloudy or green water within days of a visit
  • A scale line building on the tile
  • A different person every week, or no one you can name
  • No record of what chemicals went in
  • Equipment problems that nobody mentioned until it failed
Not on a schedule?

One-time jobs we also do.

Each of these is quoted as its own visit. Weekly customers get them at service rates; anyone can book one.

One-time pool cleaning

A full clean and chemistry reset for a party, a listing, a rental turnover, or a pool that got away from you. Net, brush, vacuum, baskets, balance.

Green pool cleanup

Algae takeover, usually one or two visits: shock, brush, filter cleaning between passes, and a plan so it doesn't come back. Quoted after we see it.

Filter cleaning

Cartridges pulled and hosed, grids cleaned, DE recharged, o-rings checked. Valley dust means most filters need this more often than the manual says.

Water feature and fountain cleaning

Fountains, spillways, and water features scale up and grow algae fast in the heat. We drain, scrub, descale, and get the pump and lights running right.

Pool drain and acid wash

For stained or heavily scaled plaster, or water that's too far gone chemically. Drain, wash, refill, and startup chemistry. We'll tell you when a replaster makes more sense.

New pool startup

Fresh plaster needs about a month of daily attention: brushing, balanced chemistry, and no swimming at first. We run startups on new pools and remodels, ours or someone else's.

Getting started

How service starts.

Step 01Quote

Send the address and a note about the pool. We'll price it based on size, spa, equipment, and visits per week, and get back to you within one business day.

Step 02First visit

Your tech resets the chemistry, checks the equipment, and notes anything that needs attention. If the pool needs a cleanup first, that's quoted separately.

Step 03On the schedule

Two set days a week. Repairs get flagged and quoted before any work happens. Questions go to the store at (760) 771-8011.

Commonly asked questions

Do I need to be home for weekly service?

No. Most customers aren't. We need gate or side-yard access and a way to reach you if we find something. If a dog is in the yard, let us know so we can set up a routine that works.

What happens after a dust storm or a monsoon?

Expect the surface to be dirty and the filter pressure to climb. Your regular visit covers netting, brushing, and baskets. If the storm was bad enough that the pool needs an extra trip before your next visit, call and we'll fit one in.

Do you service salt pools?

Yes. Salt pools still need chemistry checked every visit. We test salt level and stabilizer, keep the cell clean, and watch for calcium scale on the cell, which desert water is famous for.

What if my pool is green when you start?

Tell us up front. A green cleanup is a separate visit (or two) with its own quote, and then weekly service takes over. Trying to fold a cleanup into a regular visit is how pools stay half-green for a month.

Can I switch from another service company?

Yes, any time. Cancel with them, give us the address, and we'll do a first visit to reset the chemistry and check the equipment before dropping into the weekly schedule.

What's included in the monthly price?

Your quote spells out the visit frequency and exactly what chemicals are included, so there are no surprises on the invoice. Repairs and parts are always quoted separately before we do them.

Can I book a one-time cleaning without signing up for weekly service?

Yes. One-time cleanings, green pool cleanups, filter cleanings, fountain cleanings, and drain-and-acid-wash jobs are all quoted as single visits. No contract.

Pool and spa rails installed ordered over a month ago. Was called twice saying ready to install tomorrow, when install schedule for 8/14. Pool rail not available on 8/14 install date. You have a scheduling/communication problem. Install team was fine.

Your on-site workmanship is wonderful. I enjoy working with your Staff. You’re on-site workmanship is wonderful. I enjoy working with your Staff. On the other hand your invoicing method that I just experienced is awful! I get an invoice on July 29 indicating the payment was due on July 28! I got another invoice today indicating I am two days past due.
